Most questions land in one of the five sections below. If yours doesn't, write to us — we read every message.
1. My subscription isn't recognised
This is the most common one. In order:
- Open Nar → Profile → Restore purchases.
- Confirm you're signed into the iPhone with the same Apple ID that made the purchase. Settings → tap your name at the top — that's the Apple ID Nar will check.
- If you redeemed a code or used Family Sharing, allow a minute for Apple's servers to propagate before trying Restore again.
Still stuck? Email us with your Apple Order ID (in the email receipt from Apple, or at reportaproblem.apple.com). We can confirm the entitlement is live on Apple's side.
2. I want a refund
Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us — we don't see your payment details. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com within Apple's refund window. If you'd like us to flag a quality issue alongside your request, write to us and we'll do that too.
3. I reinstalled and my data is gone
Nar stores all health data on your iPhone — there is no Nar server holding a copy. This is by design: we never receive your sleep, HRV, cycle, or symptom data, so we can't restore it.
Your data can survive a reinstall only if your iPhone was backed up to iCloud or a Mac and you restored from that backup. If you wiped without a backup, the data is gone.
To avoid this in future: iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud → iCloud Backup → on.
4. Oura won't connect (or keeps disconnecting)
- Profile → tap the Oura row → Disconnect.
- Reconnect and sign in to Oura again. Tokens occasionally expire; reconnecting refreshes them.
- If the connection succeeds but data isn't pulling, check that your Oura app has synced your ring recently — Nar reads from Oura's cloud, which only has what your ring has uploaded.
5. The app crashes or won't open
- Force-quit Nar (swipe up and flick it away) and reopen.
- If it still crashes, please email us with: iPhone model, iOS version, and what screen you were on when it happened.
- Optional but very helpful: Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data → find a file beginning with
Nar- dated to your crash → share with us. These stay on your device unless you choose to send them.
Nar ships without a crash reporter (per our privacy policy), so the report you share is the only way we can see what happened.
